Combining ancient healing methods such as acupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion, cupping, massage, herbs and physical exercises, Bridget Schuler, LAc., tailors treatment plans according to each client’s needs with the goal of bringing her clients back to a state of balance, free of pain, discomfort and dis-ease.
Bridget has practiced massage and bodywork since 1997 and acupuncture since 2006. She obtained her degree of Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. She obtained her massage certification from Connecting Point School of Massage in Telluride, Colorado.
During her acupuncture internship, Bridget focused on orthopedics, working with the athletic department at the University of California San Diego and Acusport, a specialized sports medicine clinic where she worked with professional climbers, cyclists, football players and Olympic runners. Also skilled in general practice, Bridget has worked with seniors, children and with San Diego Hospice. In 2006, Bridget had the opportunity to attend the University of Chengdu, China, and specialized in orthopedics and gynecology.
Bridget combines her knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology with her thorough understanding of Oriental Medicine and the body’s energetic system. A dedicated surfer and student of Wu-Shu Qi Gong, Bridget’s strength is her sensitivity and concern for her patients.
